Meet the King of the woods

The moose is Norway's largest forest animal and largest terrestrial mammal. It is probably the large size that has given the moose the royal title of "king of the forest". The moose is also the world's largest deer and lives in the forests of the north in both Europe, Asia and America.

We take you into the deep forests where the king lives. There we will try to get a closer look at the moose. The elk has strong senses. So we must move carefully and think about wind direction. This is not easy, so we must be patient.  When winter comes the moose move to places where they can find food. We will take you to such a place, so the conditions are good for seeing moose.

This is a two day experience with an overnight stay. We spend time on both days, to try to find moose. We will learn alot aboout moose and the Norwegian nature. Trough these days we will serve you self-huntet dinners with local ingredients. Breakfast and lunch. The lunch is made out around the campfire.

You can choose to sleep outside in wooden tents, in a teepee, or you can sleep in warm beds inside a cabin.

If you choose to sleep outside, we will ensure that you have appropriate equipment and facilities to make the experience comfortable. This may include wooden tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and other necessary gear to ensure a good night's sleep under the open sky. We will also provide advice on safety and any precautions to consider when sleeping outdoors.
